Right on the town square and set in a period building. The rooms are charming and the food in the ground floor restaurant was excellent and prepared by our lovely host Alex. He is an accomplished chef and the produce was super fresh. A great stay and a beautiful Bastide town.

A stunning house as beautiful inside as out- a flawless renovation in perfectly pitched appropriately timeworn antique luxe taste.
The hosts Jenny and Ron were so kind and made me very welcome indeed.
I can highly recommend a visit - not only to this truly lovely house but to the magical area in and around Castilliones. I was lucky enough to be there during the hotel’s concert season and saw international cabaret star Christine Bovill performing chansons. Two great nights with great company and perhaps a just a tad too much vino on my part 😜

Stay with Maurizio and Marianne was lovely. Great tranquil location with beautiful views. Our daughter enjoyed the pool with its accessories and we enjoyed both a delicious breakfast and dinner on the covered veranda. Marianne’s cooking exceeded our expectations! Very impressive and memorable!

Beautiful and secluded location with a very short drive to a lovely medieval town with a superb market on Sunday. The pictures do not do this property justice, to the extent we saw it and drove past it thinking it couldn't possibly be the property we had rented for our stay. They property is very spacious with comfortable furnishings. Owners live very close by and really helpful and very friendly. They don't speak English but still persevered with Google translate with us to show us everything in the house. Superb hosts and very helpful in telling us about the area. Nothing was too much trouble.

Of the many hotels we have experienced L’Hotel Cours de Thamazeau is by far the most beautiful and restful.
The rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable, and gorgeously decorated with antiques collected by the owners over many years. In addition the history of this historic building is fascinating.
The friendly and knowable owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect in every way, helping with dinner reservations, suggesting lovely little villages with the best markets and restaurants for us to explore, and sharing their knowledge of the history of the region.
We will be back!
