Friendly and helpful staff, seafront location, sea view room, bathroom, great sea food restaurant ( best to book ), the town itself ( we arrived on a chilly Sunday in late December and could not believe how busy it was or the large number of packed restaurants and bars).
Located in a flowery park, 1 km from the harbour and the picturesque port town of Cancale, Hotel Nuit et Jour features a spa, sauna, swimming pool and fitness area.

Super breakfast, very good home-made cakes. Property management super friendly. Well positioned
This beautiful house, a former farm converted into a hotel, beyond the noise of downtown, is an ideal choice for visiting the Emerald Coast, Saint Malo and Mont St Michel.

Beautiful, characterful town with excellent views, restaurants and shops. Also excellent as a walking and cycling centre. Easy to get to St Malo and Mont Saint Michel.
Our favourite restaurant, great for a special occasion, is Côté Mer https://www.restaurant-cotemer.fr - with its wonderful view of the bay, attentive service and amazing food

The Hotel is on the front opposite the sea.
The Hotel is on the front opposite the sea. The Restaurant was excellent, and so was the breakfast. The staff were very good. The rooms were a little small and the stairs narrow, but this is a period property, typically French and in a period environment, Cancale is world renown for its Oysters and tides. Everything worked so it was good.
Yes we eat and drank at the Restaurant which was a very pleasant experience.

Cancale is a beautiful town and the beaches are clean and very inviting. It's a nice base to visit surrounding Dinan, Dinard and St. Malo etc. From the beach bars of Cancale you can see, in the distance and directly across the bay, the outline of Mont-Saint Michel.

Cancale is a nice small town and the apartment was situated in a very small and nice place where it was possible to both drive to viewpoint and do hiking experience. the surroundings are very beautiful and interesting and the quality of oysters are exceptional. when loving seafood and French kitchen it is a very awful place to visit.

Good town Centre with interesting small shops, everything close by. The seafront has excellent views of the sea , the Mont St Michel and the famous oyster beds. Oysters were everywhere ,tastyand reasonable priced, straight out of the sea. A delight.
One problem was lack of parking in the evenings close to the restaurants. The walk down from the upper town is 5 to 10 minutes if you are able bodied. Steep if old.
Lots of restaurants on the front ,some good value.
Overall a very enjoyable long weekend.

A very busy port with limited parking which was always full on the front regardless of the time of day. Great selection of restaurants at the port and small cafe/bars up the hill in town. Stunning church. Good market on a Thursday evening from 1730. Local produce and craft stalls. We were staying just out of town, a 15 minutes walk downhill to the port. On our second night we discovered the Tuk Tuk service from the front - 4 euros per person to our location, 2.50 back into town. Cancale is a good base for discovering that area ofr Brittany. Take the D155 along the bay, a lovely road with stunning views and a chance to sample oysters and mussels along the way.

It's a private host in a private house. Owner is nice but unfortunately he doesn't speak English. Room was elegant, facing an equally elegant front yard where you can park your car and which is gate-secured. Breakfast was good but don't expect too many things as you are not in a hotel.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and very efficient. It felt like we were being welcomed back even though it was our first visit. We ate in the restaurant and our meal was amazing. Brilliant location to experience Cancale
Lovely big room with a fabulous view across the Cancale bay. Very clean, a large comfortable bed with crisp linen sheets. Nice bathroom with heated towel rail, soft white towels and bathrobes.
what a fantastic house to stay in!Cancale is a beautiful town and the house was ideally situated and had excellent facilities. The hosts were great as well.Definitely a place to return to
