This little hotel / restaurant is an absolutely ideal place to rest your head prior to or post a Channel crossing.
The accommodation is basic, but spotlessly clean. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating.
The food was great too. My wife and I had steak frites and our daughter had a pizza.
After a good value continental breakfast in the morning, we were good to go.
Dolce Vita definitely ticked all the boxes.

I speak French. The receptionist would have been easier to understand in French. The hotel was clean & had a lift. As usual, however, hotels (which no longer have in-room phones) have yet to realise that a double room implies 2 (two) phones, & maybe 2 (two) computers. Intelligently placed electrical points would be a boon.
Otherwise, we managed to sleep. Merci.
have used this hotel many times now on driving tours of Europe. extremely handy for eurotunnel (50 mins) it's always very clean and does exactly what you want it to do. we were on third floor this time and there was quite a bit of noise from AC or similar but not horrendous. many restaurants nearby and local supermarket with petrol station.
The restaurant was fine. The room was very disappointing as the bathroom was so small the you had to manoeuvre onto the toilet. We did not dare to try the super. There was only in the sink. If thi was supposed to be a room with modern facilities they were not. We will not be using this hotel again
A small, family-owned hotel, very close to a shopping-mall area. Very clean, and rooms of good size. Breakfast OK. Good price-quality report. Carpark behind the building. The restaurant of the hotel is closed on Mondays, but there are plenty of restaurants in the nearby shopping area.
twin room suite - a little tight but perfect for what we needed. clean and good facilities, nice breakfast in the morning, loved the security at the hotel, very good for us since we were travelling with lots of things. we arrived very late after midnight and check in was no problem.
The staff was excellent. We speak very little French, but they were very patient with our attempts. The hotel is a little out of the way, but that means it's quiet. Air conditioning on a hot night was appreciated, especially since many places we stayed at didn't have it.
