Breakfast was a little disappointing. The coffee from the machine was not very good and the butter in the fridge was too hard to use. It would also help if breakfast started at 8am, not 8.30.

Bernay is a beautiful town, Maison Léontine is a short walk to the centre. It is tastefully furnished and spotless. A comfy bed and a wonderful breakfast made our stay memorable. Thanks Anne.

Lovely, clean, spacious accommodation. We had a family room and my parents had the shepherd’s hut. It was lovely for the kids to have some green to run around to break up our journey to the Vendée. The kids loved the playground and the animals. Breakfast was brilliant.

Very little to do with young children in Broglie itself when visiting as a stopover location when travelling down France towards Bordeaux. Found the local park but there was dog poo all over the grass which meant running around was difficult to ensure they didn't step in it but this is not just Broglie which has this problem it seems. Wouldn't choose to stay here in future as a stopover location and would stick with places like Rouen instead as lots more to do and see to break up the journey.

Broglie is one of those small Normandy towns, that ooze charm and a picturesque blend of brick and timberframe architecture, that I have crossed many times with a smiling eye. I found it worth lingering in for once, even for a short stay, it is true to nature.
