Our host very kindly changed our room since the room originally booked was too damp to sleep in. She gave us the apartment which fortunately was vacant that night. The apartment was perfect, beautifully decorated with all the comforts one would need. The pool and the grounds were lovely.

Fabienne is an exceptional host. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. We chose to take our own bedding but there is an option to rent. The kitchen has everything you need including cloths, dishwasher tablets and every utensil you could need. The oven and microwave are exceptionally clean!
Fabienne was there for any questions we needed.

Lovely little village with charachter and nice shops, restaurants and places to stay. Close to the popular tourist attractions in the area.
There was a festival going on in August so the ambience was terrific in the evening.
Parking was no problem and getting around on foot was easy.

We really liked this small pretty town with excellent views over the surrounding countryside. The safe narrow streets with artisan shops and the information boards on the town history were good. We ate at Planches and Plonc delicious and very friendly owners. We also enjoyed the vide grenier. We enjoyed the peacefulness being early season. Lots to do in the surrounding area if you like history ,architecture, food etc. Lots of hills if you are walking.

Lovely typical French medieval village, quite small and very quiet when we were there, (end of May beginning June) Saturday market brought the village to life! Several nice restaurants.
Ideal place to wander around the streets and the local countryside.

It was very quiet and not many places open, probably due to Covid but the place itself is absolutely stunning! Do try to learn a little French before you go! My school French (40 years ago!) came in very handy!! The Troglodite caves are good but could do with an English translation too, maybe just a headset would work? Food in all the restaurants was outstanding.

We spent two nights at le Boudoir in Aug 2024 and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The Hotel has been renovated to a high standard and offers superb breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. The location is excellent in a charming pedestrian street in the center of Belves. The owners were excellent, friendly and very attentive. We would stay again and would thoroughly recommend to family and friends. Thank you.
A very unique and special experience. The hosts Graham and Damon, we’re nothing short of exceptional, ensuring nothing was too much trouble. They share their considerable expertise in a friendly and helpful manner. Food was exceptional and accommodation was superb. Right in the heart of beautiful Belvès.
A real home from home
This was our second stay at Villa Marguerite, and we can not fault it. Everything you could possibly want, plus a fabulous host who makes sure that all is well.Lovely little terrace for outdoor dining and just a stones throw from the centre Belves
A lovely hotel with lovely hosts. I would recommend to anyone that would like to stay in a tranquil village with good food, drink and people.
Very impressive.
From the terrace, the most fabulous view of a classic medieval French hilltop village. Lovely house with pool and garden and close to all amenities of Belvès.
