The Gite is amazing.. The pictures don't really do it justice especially the views over the valley. The pool is exceptional and the outdoor area is just fantastic. Inside the Gite, there is no air-conditioning but it is cool and you only need a fan (which was supplied). The Gite has all the utensils and amenities anyone would require. The owner was great, very helpful and welcoming. We will be back one day.

What a beautiful and historic place, the manor itself, the grounds, all of it. Hosts are lovely and offer so much insight into the history of the location. Be sure to go on the hike to the waterfall and the English Castle!

Location was lovely, facilities were very good and breakfast and dinner were good quality. A really enjoyable place to stay.
We can't recommend this hotel enough. Stunning building, beautiful rooms, lovely garden with swimming pool and friendly dogs, gracious hosts. We stayed there on a Monday and discovered too late that everything in the village was shut on Monday evenings, but then the hostess came home from a foreign trip and went out of her way to cook us an elaborate meal.
You just can't beat the location for this place in the centre of a stunning village and the fact you can eat in the restaurant and they were dog friendly. You can easily do the Cascades walk from the hotel. Good aircon. Lovely views from windows.
