The town is adorable but after visiting the Abbey, there's not a ton to do. We used the village as a base to tour in the area. Our favorite was Lascaux, about 40 minutes away, with pre-historic cave drawings.
The staff are all very friendly. Our room was large and clean We had two delicious meals at their restaurant. There is a variety of choice for breakfast and all very satisfying. The village is charming with good walking to be had from the door of the hotel.
The staff member we dealt with was very personable. The location is excellent, the hotel a little tired in the room decor, but the guy we dealt with offset any negatives and we embraced its quirkiness.
