This place was an amazing find, a little gem and we can’t recommend it enough. The hosts Claire & Arnaud were amazing nothing was to much trouble, the bedroom was spacious as the bathroom, location was a little difficult to find but the village was delightful with a superb sailing port a short walk away to visit.
The icing on the cake was the Table d Horte dinner, prepared by Claire to Michelin star standard , what a meal … this is a must, breakfast was good too. We wish the owners every success and will certainly return 5*

Great area to explore but need a car to get to larger beaches and forest (Royan la Tremblade etc.) We enjoyed cycling and beaches especially for body boarding enjoyed by all. Plenty of restaurants great food especially seafood in la Tremblade. Some beaches near estuary where muddy at low tide. Life guards were excellent / polite and very watchful. Towns where busy in evenings with various entertainment.
