We loved our stay in this Chalet hotel. Julie, Margaux and the entire team were absolutely amazing and made our stay really comfortable and memorable.
We booked a whole chalet which was a great choice for a group of 5. The hotel has ski-in / ski-out access which makes it extremely fun and convenient.
The staff are really helpful and friendly and the overall customer service is exceptional!

The location was very good if you wanted to use La folie douce which closed at 7pm each evening we was then able to either take the cable car down or ski over to our hotel then walk the rest of the way.

Super stylish, yet very comfortable apartment. The hosts obviously endeavour to give their guests the best possible experience. The bathrooms were luxurious and the kitchen extremely well equipped, there was even a Fondue set and Raclette machine. The ski in ski out experience was a luxury and the views indeed breathtaking. Can’t wait to go again next season.

Our apartment was in Arc 2000.
Our apartment was in Arc 2000. There is a regular gondola between the 2, but you have to use a lift or walk up a short steep snowy slope to reach it.
Both Arc 2000 and 1950 are very nice, lots of restaurants. 1950 is rather busy for both skiiers and pedestrians along the same narrow streets. This would put me off booking there.

Picturesque village with great little supermarket which is unsurprisingly expensive. Good shops and variety of ski rentals. The restaurants in the village are, without exception overpriced and poor quality. There are some excellent restaurants on the slopes.

I ski alot. 5-7 weeks a year. I will never go back to Les Arcs 1950 and generally the Les Arcs ski area.
Too busy, too many people on the slopes, Les Arcs 1950 poorly serviced by bad restuarants and bars and you have to queue for everything! (50 minutes for a ski pass on a sunday, 45 mins for ski hire, 45 minutes for the bakery to get bread!)

Arc 1950 suited our family.
Arc 1950 suited our family. Everything we needed was there, supermarket, bakery, ski shops, drink and food places. no cars in the village was great. The village is not big so it is easy to get around.
Amazing apartment with modern furniture and cozy atmosphere within the hotel Refuge du Montagnard with a perfect view, balcony, heating, bath, ski in / ski out and locker for equipment. Lot's of plates, glasses, coffee machine, candles - everything for a comfortable stay. Extremely quiet room, enough space to relax and put clothes, great wi-fi connection. Sauna, hammam, inside&outside pool are included. Definitely a place where you want to come back.
Perfect and convenient location, gorgeous apartment with very clean and super stocked kitchen. A lot of nice little touches that make you feel at home. Ski in, ski out and ski through the very pretty ARC 1950 village. The grocery, ski rentals, ski school are just a few steps away. Parking is easy downstairs and we can use luggage carts to bring our stuff up easily using the elevator.
The apartment was excellent, it had everything we needed for a lovely stay in Arc 1950. The location is great, ski-in and ski-out. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking our own meals, and the balcony has a great view of the slopes. The owners, Julien and Jordi, are very friendly and always ready to help if there are any questions or concerns.
Our favourite lunchtime was to visit the Boulle cafe on one of the slopes, fantastic seafood and French cuisine at a really good price (unlike in 1950 & 2000.) The wine choices are also heavenly…. An absolute joy.
The hotel was a fabulous location, comfy, nicely decorated, stunningly beautiful scenery, ski to door, easy parking, just can’t beat it!
True ski in and out. Located in a nice French Hotel. Room 813 is the top floor and has high ceilings and awesome views. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms are a bit older but very well maintained and super clean, all you need for a ski holiday. Kitchen was updated, very nice and very well provisioned with the Market a one minute walk away
just perfect.
full ski in/out, yet not in the loudest/busiest area do the village
tasteful decor, well laid-out for a family of 4, still feels very fresh and new
very well equipped, incl. kitchen - nothing more to ask for
convenient (yet not the cheapest) parking
cool pool
if we go back to Les Arcs - we will certainly stay here
The studio apartment is beautifully furnished. The supply of towels, slippers, and dressing gowns makes it feel like a luxury hotel. The apartment and location are everything you need for a relaxing ski in ski out holiday. The hot tub, steam, and sauna wellness area was clean and very relaxing after a day's skiing
Location was perfect!
Maud was an excellent host and replied to any messages straight away.
The apartment is finished to a high standard with lovely homely touches.
This was our 4th time in Arc 1950 and so far has been the best apartment we have stayed in.
We would definitely stay again :)
Everything
The appartment was really comfortable, full of kitchenette, clean and very well equipped.
The location super. Right in the middle of the village, next to the slopes.
The access very good as we parked down under the hotel.
Whenever we asked for sth, we had it in the next hour
A very nice apartment in the middle of Arc 1950. The kitchen equipment was excellent. You can ski to the back door, take off your ski boots and go straight to the apartment with the lift, great. The ski area (especially with the expansion to La Plagne) is very beautiful and diverse.
Appartement itself - very good! A lot of space, comfortable and well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom. 2nd beadroom is really small, but we knew it from pictures, so we were ready for that.
Village is amazing, great place for family ski vacation. Real ski in/out.
The location was great. Good affordable local bakery. Facilities provided by the hotel were of good quality. Thanks. The property was well maintained, with a well stock kitchenette.
ideally located, close to supermarket, bars, restaurants and the gondola that connects to Arc2000. The hotel also had a great indoor/outdoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
ample space for a family of five, well equipped, very clean, excellent location at the very centre of the village. ski in-ski out, like every property in arc 1950
Spotlessly clean and fantastic location. Hosts were really easy to deal with and very helpful. We have stayed in other places in Les Arcs and this one was great!
