One of my favorite hostels on the Camino and a perfect stay after my 2nd day hiking. It was really hot that day and the pool was perfect. The property felt like an oasis where I could relax and the staff were so nice. I eat a vegetarian diet and they made me one of the best meals I’ve had in Spain. The regular pilgrims set menu looked incredible as well.
Set in the foothills of Navarra Pyrenees, Pensión Amets is a guest house located in Zubiri, by Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. There is a garden with views of the river and a medieval bridge.

The property was in a great location and well set up. The hosts were wonderful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate, but there was no place to hang towels. There was also no shampoo etc so I was thankful I brought small travel sizes of the essentials. The hosts had a fridge on site where you could buy ice and water.

Maria, the owner was very kind and helpful. She even gave me a lift up the road in the morning. The place was spacious and comfortable.

Amazing space for pilgrims to connect. Spacious. So nice to have the whole bathroom to yourself on the camino (there were two on the second floor and we never had to wait).
