my room did not lock and I was not able to use it. I complained about it 3 times and it was never fixed. I did not use the room or keep my stuff in the room. At check out the font desk did not seem it care and acknowledge it was a problem . Very disappointed!!!!

Beautiful courtyard setting. Ideal for people with mobility problems. Very clean and quiet...very little traffic noise. Great breakfast. Location very near to bars and restaurants.

There isn't much to do in the area apart from water-based activities, which was the main reason I went - snorkelling, diving, swimming, kayaking, etc. But when the weather is bad, Malaga is only 1.5h away by bus and other cities/towns are 30 minutes away.

This apartment is a total gem! You're right by the sea and even have a natural reserve as your neighbor, so the views are just insane. I mean, where else can you see a deer strolling by in the morning? The place itself is super stylish and decked out with all the amenities, including a kitchen that's got everything. And don't even get me started on the jacuzzi on the terrace—it's the ultimate spot for star-gazing.
The host was a breeze to communicate with, always quick to respond and super helpful with local tips. Oh, and the two modern private saunas in the apartment? A personal spa, perfect for for unwinding. Trust me, you won't regret booking this place. It's a slice of paradise that makes you feel like you've hit the vacation jackpot.

This has been one of my favourite holiday rentals ever! Andreas and Ines are kind, attentive, responsive and generous people and are wonderful hosts. They live next door and are very respectful of the privacy of their guests.
This modern duplex home is set in a wonderful, quiet, up-market, residential neighbourhood. It has everything you could possibly need and it is comfortable, very well finished with super air conditioning. The beds are super comfortable and the bedrooms come complete with attractive and very functional mosquito nets. Ines clearly has wonderful taste and attention to detail and this is obvious from the thoughtful details and love that has been poured into this fantastic home.
The views from the spacious balcony are spectacular! We spent hours relaxing in the shade looking out at the trees, sea and bay as the sun set behind the hills. It’s also a wonderful setting for a Yoga practice and a few sun salutations.
The fantastic pool is a short, steep walk towards the bottom of the property through a lovely pine tree filled garden. The pool area also has amazing views across the bay and is very well equipped with modern recliners, pool accessories and brilliant umbrellas providing ample shade. The house faces west to catch the brilliant evening sunsets however there is sun on the pool area from mid morning (circa 10:30am).
It’s an enjoyable 15 minute walk into the town and beach and we strolled in every morning. The town has a myriad of restaurants and shops. There are multiple routes and walks into Le Herradura and down into Marina Del Este on the other side of the peninsula.
Thank you Andreas and Ines for such a wonderful holiday and we will be back!

Beautiful coastal town that is a gem of the Costa Tropical. Beach is beautiful and plenty of lovely eating options. Hotels and accoodation vary to suit the budget but there is noting too pretentious here. Lovely local Spanish feel to the place. I always want to come back.

A cute little town perfect for a few days on the beach. A good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars - very family oriented. I travelled there with my 15 year old daughter and just wanted a few days chilling and sunbathing. Perfect for this. We were there 1st week of Aug and mainly Spanish people on holiday there which we loved - felt like real Spain. Clean pebble beach - busy by the water (take a parasol), quiet further back. The sea was clear and the perfect temperature. We travelled from Malaga by bus (Alsa). Really picturesque journey taking an hour and a half. 7 euros one way.
Great hotel only two blocks from the La Herradura Beach. Spacious and clean rooms with very comfortable beds and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is a great deal. The buffet is 6 euros for adults and free for children. If you need parking, it is available about 4 blocks away, but you must inquire of the hotel in advance as space is limited. For the first two nights, we were able to find street parking. Don't miss the 5th Floor roof deck. They have drinks and snacks there on Friday and Saturday nights.
The location was superb, excellent views on the port and sea and having breakfast in the morning sun. It's such a nicely built apartment complex, which feels like you're in an old, charming Spanish town. It's also within walking distance of two small beaches and a 10-minute drive to the nice beaches of La Herradura and Almunecar.
The apartment was clean and tidy and also warm in the winter. Host Alicia is very kind, helpful and speaks very good English.
Very special place. Small scale hotel designed by a renowned architect. Very tasteful interior and nostalgic feeling. Coastal hotels like this are hard to find in this region. Away from the crowds and good parking possibilities yet close to the sea. Staff were attentive and personal. The room looked every day very crisp with fresh linnen. Very nice breakfast and excellent dining possibilities. I strongly recommend and would certainly come back!
Very little other than large pools. Air conditioning worked in the rooms. Some of the cleaning staff and reception staff were nice as we had no success with Booking.com trying to change rooms.
La Herradura beach is lovely, especially Coco Bay chiringuito (simple, informal, lovely service) or Bambu (smarter, great service, sophisticated food). The Marina is classy with a few nice restaurants and a nice chiringuito on the small beach.
We've stayed at Sol Los Fenicios a few times now and the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms (although a little dated now and probably in need of a lick of paint) are always spotlessly clean. Breakfast is fab with a great choice. There are sanitising stations around the hotel and disposable gloves available in the dining areas. Customer service is second to none.
The view and the atmosphere were amazing. The staff was super accommodating and helped us switch rooms when the first was unsatisfactory. They even comped us a free meal for the trouble. The restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing. We ate both breakfast and dinner there at least twice. It’s close to beaches and dive shops. Again.. the view. So peaceful.
I loved the room, the bed, the hotel was lovely, and the beach was so close! The minibar was stocked on the first day and all amenities were provided. The toilet paper could have been better and I couldn't work out how to operate the aircon, but apart from that cannot complain!
Villaquinta is a beautiful place to stay with stunning views over the bay of la herradura and with a pool, a perfect place to watch the sunset after a long day on the beach. Rooms clean and comfy, breakfast on the terrace was good. The hosts gave a warm welcome.
This was very affordable, close to the beach, convenient, clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite our limited spanish. The breakfast was excellent and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Pension La Herradura.
This little place is well located near the center of La Herradura. It was very clean and well equipped. It should be noted that the bedroom and roof top terrace can only be accessed via a metal spiral stair case.
Lovely hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful as I realised I had left a jacket in my room. After emailing them they replied promptly and I got my jacket back.
This apartment has been beautifully refurbished. The views are stunning.
