Granada, whilst a great city, is a major tourist destination. If you want to see the Alhambra Palace you need to book a month in advance. I didn't have much time so I opted for the City train, which enabled me to stop at key points and walk around before getting back on subsequent trains later. Just enjoy the many places to eat and drink!

The History of this city is fascinating, Alhambra is a must visit but beware tickets sell out fast so if you are thinking of going book early on the official website.
Walking is easy enough to explore the city but wear sensible shoes, local small buses are cheap and easy to find and the cost is good and you can pay on the bus to the driver.
Lots of places to eat are all around, Tapas and lots of different cuisines are also alvailable. Sadly no Gluten Free options seemd to be available apart from salad.
We felt safe to walk around at night.

We booked this last minute for a sun break in what looked to be a historic city and we weren't disappointed. There is so much to see we couldn't fit it all in - many historical building in the city centre as well as the Alhambra, Albaicin district and Sacromonte up on the hill to the north. We will definitely return. Be sure to pre-book some visits as these are sold out weeks in advance, e.g. Alhambra including the Nasrid palace - be warned that many so called sites offering queue jumping tickets for tours offer inflated price tickets that do not include the Nasrid palace. We travelled in late October which was relatively busy but not too bad, but we understand it can get extremely busy during the summer months.

Staying here was the highlight of our trip. We received useful and detailed information from the hosts, the room was perfect, and breakfast was outstanding. This small boutique hotel has an exotic aura reminiscent of Granada's past, while it also made us feel truly at home. We made use of the parking space close by, which was spacious and easy to find.
Beautiful and spacious boutique hotel. Rooftop pool was lovely for dipping in on a hot afternoon. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. Slightly outside the main pedestrianised area of granada but everything still within walking distance, especially with the convenient bus services around
I'm a repeat guest in this small but friendly hotel. The staff are always the best. Location is perfect. In the ground floor there's a small restaurant that serves killer Argentine meals. I will continue to use this little hotel in my future trips to Granada. I feel at home.
The girl at the reception was a real charmer, thanks to her we were able to visit the best places in Granada. The apartment is very central, close to everything and with a carrefour just a few steps away. If someday we come back to Spain, we will repeat without hesitation!
We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Everything was exceptional from service to quality of the food. The location is very central, feels that you are in Granada, Spain. In front of a beautiful plaza, walking distance to many great shops and restaurants.
