There is a lot to see and walk around.

There is a lot to see and walk around. We booked extra tickets for the gardens, so we could do it all at leisurely pace over two days. Good decision. Bus number C32 going up, easy walk back down from the side gate. If you use the car park be aware that the upper gate is locked at closing time. You can linger and exit through the side gate but it is a longer walk back. Buy tickets online and well in advance - they sell out quick. You will need to show passports at various entry points. Be careful to only use official website.

This is the highlight of this city.

This is the highlight of this city. If you go to Granada and do not go to the Alhambra you have wasted a trip. The rest of the city we found a bit too busy and not as clean as other large cities in Spain. Lots of good restaurants all over. Best place for drinks since you get a free tapa with each drink everywhere.

We loved it here but it was very hot, high 30s so need to go early in day. Book Nasrid palaces in advance as we missed these as no spaces until much later in the day, on the day. You need your passort to book/buy tickets. If you dont go into the palaces you can but ticket for ten euros to do tbe rest of it. You will need 3 to 5 hours. Its a couple of miles to walk round.
