It was an amazing experience, being inside and seeing the museum. Living there and experiencing that place was a really incredible experience. The staff was great and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good, with local products and their own bread! It’s been a long time that I hadn’t enjoy a stay as much as this one.

We had a great time at Casa Bella!
This loft is just beautiful!! Big space, comfortable and with a very artistic design - we felt very inspired when sitting on the sofa and looking around :)
The bathroom is well equipped and the shower has a lot of area.
The bed is a 10/10!! Very large and really - REALLY - comfortable!
Enjoyed a gifted little snack and coffee before we left for the camiño, that passes just by the door of the house! Wow!!
Also great communication with the host for the check-in/check-out process.
Thank you!

Location and consideration. The fridge was well-stocked, breakfast is laid on and there was a big bowl of fruit. We wanted for nothing. Spotless and very well supplied.

An unexpectedly attractive town with beautiful harbour and nearby mountain. Lanes often steep and narrow so car driving tricky but possible. Plenty of restaurants and a bakery offering very good breakfasts. A walk up to the castle above the town was enjoyable.
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while walking a comino through A Guarda. Every element of our stay from check in to leaving was a pleasant experience. The Bookings pictures don't capture the tidiness of the apartment or the fantastic view of the harbour and waterside town. Very quiet at night, no problem sleeping with windows open, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen for 2 people. Great value if spending more than 1 night. Being non- Spanish speakers, sincere thanks to the lady that checked us in and out - she was very patient.
My stay at the apartment couldn’t have been more pleasant. The photos don’t do this magical place justice. There is a lot of space and everything was in perfect condition. The owners were generous and helpful throughout and we are already planning on staying there again!
Some advice if you are looking to stay there, the address doesn't work properly on Google maps and Uber doesn't function in the area so go to the Taxi stop outside Froiz supermarket in A Guarda and ask a taxi driver to take you to the address.
The owner was incredible to attend to us and make our check in smooth and easy. The room was perfect for our stay during the Camino. The next day, breakfast was great and check out was very easy. They allowed our bag-transfer company to drop off and pick up with ease. We would stay here again if we visit A Guarda again.
P.S. when we arrived the front desk was closed. If this happens to you fear not! Just message the property and the owner will arrive very quickly!
The host met us and left food and drink in the fridge for us. She was super helpful and checked in regularly during the stay with clear in structions. The place was pristine, comfortable, modern and in a fantastic location to explore A Guarda. There was a small gym downstairs too and bikes were available free of charge. The Wifi was also free and was very reliable.
Incredible! Located in a building that was a convent or a monastery, the hotel still has a room with relics, old books samples of tiles from 16th century, etc. It is not a traditional hotel - so there are no elevators or a big dining hall, but if you are looking for a unique experience in a place that has seen a lot of history, this place delivers in spades.
This is a hidden gem, beautiful hotel with a unique atmosphere. It may not have a pool / gym, but the beach is on your doorstep. The inner courtyard oozes tranquility, a great place to have breakfast or simply to chill out after a day's traveling. Rooms are top notch, great bed, very comfortable. Highly recommend.
It's the first time I ever gave the hotel 10. The rooms are very clean, fresh and nicely looking. Exceptional value for the price. The owner was super nice, gave the overview of the city, suggested what to visit and genuinely was trying to help with anything. The breakfast was customized per request.
This was our second year staying at the hotel and we loved it even more this time. The location is perfect, the staff lovely and the room super. we really enjoyed the breakfast too and drinks one evening at the bar. we’ll be back again
Set atop a hill overlooking the mińo estuary and the port of A Guarda, this is a place well worth staying in.
It’s so close to the Castro and when the hordes have departed the hilltop it feels like you have the place to yourself.
What a perfect place to spend a few days. Super little apartment fully equipped
Great garden with sun all day
Parking right at the door
And a great place to get around La Guarda
A really good spot for walking and cycling
The staff was very nice and helpful. Clean. For a simple, basic hotel though, it was very overpriced. It was one of the very few available in town at that time.
