I did not eat breakfast. The staff is amiable, I believe it is a couple that cares for the place. It feels homely. My son loved the place. A big supermarket is right next door where we did our shopping for the room. A nice park is around the corner and a shopping center.

El Jardin is a gem. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The large veranda is equipped with soft seats, there are hammocks hanging everywhere and the view on the curated garden is dreamy. From the surrounding forest, all kinds of unidentifiable bird songs reach your ears. There are friendly cats jumping around, cute little pavilions, hot tubs. The on-site restaurant served a gastronomic meal that completely took me by surprise. Running right in front of the main door is the pathway that leads to the Puyo river where people are jogging. It's just perfect.

The property was extremely clean and the family/owners were very nice people.
The breakfast was fantastic the next morning as well with lovely fresh fruit, smoothie, croissant and scrambled egg.

Lovely 𝑩&𝑩, we had a nice welcome and the place was lovely, including Christmas decorations and lights. The room was spacious, and there is secure parking. Breakfast was nice, with fruits, omelette, juice etc. There is also a lovely dog, as well as a nice garden when to walk and enjoy the river.

Puyo has a lot to see and experience, much of it can be found as walking tours around town. And the people are friendly and helpful (Which is the most favorable thing about beautiful Ecuador.) Expect rain at times, and the litter situation can be bothersome.

Puyo is TOTALLY undersold by guidebooks and travel websites. I had a wonderful time exploring Puyo for two whole days and left feeling there was a lot more to be discovered. It's a great place to explore the Amazon region, especially because it isn't so hot as other places like Tena. Would recommend, and I hope to return someday!
The hotel consists of small houses in a beautiful garden, close to the river. Even though close to the city center of Puyo you have the feeling of being in the rainforest already. You hear many birds and the water from the river in the room. The breakfast area is outdoors and lovely, also great for working. The breakfast is prepared fresh and very tasty. You can walk to the city center in 30 minutes taking the beautiful paseo turistico along the river, lined by forest.
This is a high quality, friendly family run Hosteria, it is beautiful and well run. The rooms are very nice, my room didn't have A/C but the large fan kept the room cool. The breakfast was also excellent. There is a bus stop directly outside the property that takes you the 5 minute journey into Puyo (or take a taxi). A great spot to plan day trips out to the jungle or see the waterfalls. Highly recommended.
We travel to Puyo every year to visit family and usually stay in the center. This time we opted for an apartment to accommodate four of us (two couples) more comfortably. The apartment is a bit too far from the center to walk safely, but it's still near a supermarket, restaurants, banks, etc. There was plenty of space for us to cook, eat, and relax.
The hostal/hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location is very convenient making walking to most of the restaurants and the Malecón (boardwalk) very easy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful with all the flowers. Plenty of hot water in the shower.
Great welcome and a lot of information about what to do in the area given by the friendly guy at reception. Rooms are super clean, there's plenty of hot water and free parking in the private garage of the hotel. Situated close to the bus terminal and lots of cheap eateries. Wonderful stay, highly recommended!
Arrived late after 5 hour drive from Quito. Was met with lovely welcome and shown my room. Very comfortable bed. Even though only stayed one night before tfansger to Yana Cocha I was allowed to keep my room until late afternoon when hotel staff called a taxi for me. Lovely people.
Incredible stay. So glad we decided to come to Puyo for a few days and stay here. Wifi was surprisingly good, and a very comfortable quiet room. I know Puyo wouldn't have been as of a great experience if we didn't stay here. Rented bikes and did a tour from here. Would recommend.
This is a stylish hotel near Puyo city center, very clean and comfortable room/beds, there are nearby restaurants, breakfast is delicious and plenty. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to Amazon jungles, great place for you to visit Amazon area.

This hotel was fine for a night, but they are in the process of selling it, so staff not very attentive, no breakfast or coffee, and not much open in the area before 9am. Very well-priced though.
It was a great place to stay! Also it was very clean, perfect for a leisure stay at Puyo. They were very cordial and the breakfast was tasty. The room was comfy and it was spacious and clean
