The hotel was having renovations done but that had no bearing on our stay. We were treated wonderfully by Maria (the owner) who runs the hotel with her husband and their son who does the cooking. Fabulous family hotel, lovely food and a very friendly atmosphere. Despite being on a main road, we weren't disturbed by traffic - great value for money!!

Very convenient stopover place next to the Stuttgart-Munich autobahn.
It is two minutes from the motorway and has a fantastic brewery (Schwarzbrau) with its own superb restaurant serving German cooking with the beers all kept perfectly. There's some good accommodation, especially the Adler, and even a 2km running route around a duck-filled lake. Cycling routes etc too.

This hotel is the best we ever had! Great attention for detail, comfortable beds, room wel equiped, the bathroom is just amazing! Spacious with a fantastic rain shower.
We had schnitzel with pomme for dinner, with a tasty salad. The restaurant is very cozy. Breakfast was amazing, almost like a high tea: small bread rolls and all kinds of yummies.
The owners built the hotel with their own hands, and are so friendly and hospitable. We can really recommend staying at Finkl's Heimat!
It is a beautiful and very comfortable hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they answered all our questions. The sauna area was very nicely decorated and clean. It had relaxing beds and hanging chairs. The rooms were beautiful with wooden beams and a personal welcoming card. Also, the courtyard added to the atmosphere. The breakfast was also very good and in a nice space.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, with lots of options. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was hard to find a taxi service in Zusnarahausen, so I asked the hotel staff to help me with this. They booked an airport transfer for me and ensured the driver arrived on time.
Remember this is a gastof not a hotel. The room was large and comfortable and the shower room was very good. Breakfast was simple but the host was very attentive to our needs and offered more options if we wanted. We were lucky enough to enjoy dinner in the garden.
