The building was charming - reminding me of a ski lodge. There was a warm welcome from the owner and the accommodation was a short drive from the nearest very pretty village. Breakfast was served by the host and was perfectly fine

Breakfast adequate. Would have preferred boiled eggs to scrambled. Excellent evening meal in restaurant.
This is a great hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The food in the restaraunt has improved markedly post covid and I can wholeheartedly recommend the Chateaubriand. Breafast is of good quality and size and other breakfast dishes are available on request. The chef and dining room staff were excellent
this hotel is a real gem! we have made a stop on a long drive-way and all we were looking for is a nice and comfortable place to sleep over. the building, staff, facilities, restaurant (amazing food!!!) exceeded all possible expectations. will come back here for sure and will stay longer!

For several years now my favourite hotel for the Bayreuth Festival. Its a lovely location in the hills and has great views and a super breakfast. Large and comfortable rooms kept super clean and tidy. Very good laundry service.
