The building was charming - reminding me of a ski lodge. There was a warm welcome from the owner and the accommodation was a short drive from the nearest very pretty village. Breakfast was served by the host and was perfectly fine

Area was very nice. The dinner excellent, if you go for well prepared cooking as your mom did it. Sat outside on the village square. Local beer was fantastic.

"Quaint" and "charming" are good adjectives for this Bavarian town on a small river. Very quiet, convenient to Bayreuth and the opera festival (about 20 minutes by car). A few restaurants, pharmacy and supermarket all within 5 minutes.

A great little hotel in a lovely small town, very conveniently located near the highway. We spent two nights at Pension Hofer on our way to France and back. The owner was very accommodating, as we were traveling with a dog, and gave us a very large room on the top floor. Breakfast was very good and served in a cozy atmosphere. Parking right under the hotel. Additionally, the town is easily accessible on foot and very pleasant to explore.
The room we were assigned was pretty spacious (it was a suite), and recently renovated (like the entire hotel, I think). You can see that the rooms were re-made with great attention to detail, and with high quality materials. However, it somehow is missing a one definite style, seems a bit of a mishmash. Also, not sure if hanging TV over a bathtub is that safe.

Sandra, the manager, was very helpful and friendly, gave us good recommendations on where to go and what to see.
The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from our window was incredible - over a very picturesque village. We will definitely come back when in the area.
At the entrance to the hotel it says: my little paradise... I can confirm. Best breakfast I had in a hotel since a long time. Very close to Kurpark. Just dip You feet into the water of the river passing by the hotel.
The pittoresque location is fantastic and the hostess/owner (Ms. Teufel) is sweet and the hotel biergarten and the dark lager were so good. Rooms were very clean and spacious
