The apartment was on the edge of a small village and the hosts were very helpful. It was clean and equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. You do need a car though. We stayed 4 nights and did day trips to the bigger towns each day.

My rating is not entirely fair because I overlooked the fact that it was a diaconal guesthouse when booking. If you are looking for peace and a deep feeling of religious security, this is a really nice place. Of course everything is furnished rather functionally, simply and modestly, with as much comfort as necessary. For me it was a trip back in my youth by chance, for my Dutch colleague it was a bit irritating. I thought it was cool. Thank you very much!

Fabulous stay - a real gem in the beautiful but understated Frankenhöhe (Franconia) Nature Park. Fairly recently and expertly renovated from a 100-year-old Bahnhof building the enthusiastic and friendly owner is one to really take care of you. The rooms are very comfortable, roomy, modern and unfussy. Bathrooms are clean and beautifully appointed. Beds are super comfortable and the furniture is modern and of excellent quality. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and if we are in the region again in the future we will definitely stay here.
