Everything was fantastic. Sabine is a wonderful host, she manages to be both super helpful and warm while also giving you lots of space. The beds are outstandingly comfortable. Breakfast was great. The garden was beautiful and the location was super for exploring the local area.
As we stayed two nights we were given a pass for attractions in the local area- some free and some discounted. This was so valuable, we couldn’t believe it! So many fantastic things to do in Schwartzwald. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends. Thanks Sabine and the team!

Breakfast was a good spread and delicious. The property is just a walk away from the nearest forest trail and also a nice walk to town for dinner. The view from the room is beautiful, the serenity around the area is perfect for a good deep rest. We could enjoy afternoon tea with home baked cakes after the walk at the cafe. The rooms seems newly renovated, very clean with amenities similar to that of a hotel. The owners are friendly. I would highly recommend this property.

We stayed in the Waldachtal Hotel. It was an amazing experience. view from the room was breathtaking.
We had dinner in the Jose Y Emilio restaurant, next to the hotel. The Tapas were wonderful. Moreover, the disco dance in the evening was great and the atmosphere really amazing.
All in all, we've spent an outstandingly enjoyable weekend.

Great place, very quiet and relaxing with very welcoming hosts. The room is better than it looks on the photos, everything is new and very clean. Comfortable bed, big bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. There was nothing that the hosts had not thought of.
The hotel is lovely, very clean and the staff were great. The room was spacious and clean and a very comfy bed. We ate there and the food was good, buffet style so something there for everyone and breakfast was one of the best with lots of choice and variety. After a long ride there on a motorbike it was the perfect hotel.
Big, nice and very clean hotel. The room had a big balcony with an amazing view to the forest. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were very good. The staff, especially the one at the restaurant, were very friendly.
We enjoyed the indoor pool and outdoor relaxation area with lounge chairs overlooking prairies..very calming and quiet. Overall nice friendly staff and great ambiance all around the hotel, we'd gladly come back!
