Absolutely amazing, Gerlinde and Patrick are truly wonderful and always make us feel so welcome, the rooms are immaculate, the beds are so comfortable, the scenery is to die for, ooohhh that land is magic. We have stayed several times in this small hotel on a stopover on a long journey. It has consistently treated us well: a decent room, a good night's sleep and a good breakfast. There are also little touches like ice packs being put in the freezer overnight and some hot water provided for the journey if you ask.
It is a place with much character, on the main square of a pretty small town (do have a stroll), with the surrounding areas offering many attractions.
This is not your typical hotel or B&B. Off the beaten track but within easy reach of the freeway. No meals or breakfast but a good walk to the local golf club for dinner and plenty of bakeries within 10km to start the day with fresh bread rolls. Comfortable, modern rooms. We stayed one night on our way down to Vienna and found it very relaxing. Beautiful evening stroll in the sunset.
We liked the location and neighborhood. Rooms were clean and quiet. The hotel itself is in a unique building and it makes it very special. The breakfast was great. We could choose fried, scrambled, or boiled eggs as well as other cold foods. Thanks to the owners!
The attached restaurant had a great dinner (not included) and the included breakfast was very tasty. the only downside was that the room was quite warm, and the hotel had fans in the room already so it was very bearable.
