What a gem! fit our bill precisely, easy 10 minute walk to Tamm station, then about 20 minute train ride to Stuttgart. Sure beat driving and parking in the city. Excellent breakfast and dinner in a historic setting. Best eggs of our trip! Run by very hospitable couple. We'd love to come back!

This is a small hotel, family-owned, with no frills, but very clean. The owner is very pleasant and very helpful, he organized our taxi to the offices, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome - he made a nice little omelet for us in the morning.
Аlthough not exceptional in any way in terms of furniture or rooms, it is clean and comfortable. The fact that it is situated I nto a building from several centuries ago is a great deal by itself.
We were greeted warmly and had great interaction with the owners. The rooms were very clean and furnished tastefully and the beds were comfortable. We were offered a buffet breakfast at a minimal expense in the morning. We enjoyed a beautiful authentic German meal in the restaurant in the alfresco courtyard of the hotel. All staff were exceptional in attending to our enjoyable stay.
The hotel is absolutely outstanding as the people that are working there! Extra bonus having the restaurant where you can eat German food at very good price with extra quality! The room are quite, comfortable and clean! Again the owners are absolutely amazing people friendly and helpful.
