We had a wonderful two-night stay. The welcome was warm and friendly, and our room was very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Most of all we enjoyed the sauna area. We recommend the hiking trail (Traumschleife Kingelfloß, 8km/2 hours) that begins and ends at the hotel.

The rooms were as promised, the food delicious and the relaxed and tranquil location, next to a lake, was all we could have asked for.

This is a lovely hotel in the town of Simmern. We would have loved to explore this area more but we were on a quick visit for a family wedding nearby. This hotel is a little gem! The breakfast was good and offered a good selection of breakfast food. Unfortunately we did not try the main restaurant so I can’t comment, however one of the wedding party did go to the restaurant and reported that it was very good.
Staff were friendly and helpful, very clean and quiet location. Would love to return again someday.
I booked this for my parents, as they were visiting us to help us renovate our house. They loved the apartment, it had everything they needed, the shower was really good and they found the bed very comfortable. They also enjoyed the central location so that they could explore Simmern a bit. 10/10 stay.
