It's a fairly basic hotel for the price. I felt it was quite high for what it was, however, there was not a lot of choice in the area, and we needed accommodation. The owner was friendly and was on hand to help. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection.

We stayed for one night, received instructions by email on how to collect key in box outside entrance door. For the whole of our stay there was absolutely no staff visible, except for cleaning lady who knocked on our door at 8 a.m. Because of no staff there was also no option of breakfast.

My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay at the Blaue Traube Hotel. Our room was on the ground floor which we appreciated after a day of biking. It opened up onto a courtyard which brought in a lot of light and was very quiet considering it was surrounded by buildings. The room was basic but clean. The bed was comfortably firm. Given the very reasonable price, we were impressed with the quality and quantity of the breakfast, which to us make the hotel an excellent value. They also had a secure area for our bikes.
The location in the center of Schongau is perfect — it was the owners and staff however that made our stay exceptional. From waiting for us to arrive to assist with our 86 year old mother until extending our parking via the parking pay station when we were delayed in our exit — this hotel took care of everything we needed. The upgrades to the bathroom are spectacular— one of the best showers we had during our stay in Bavaria visiting family!
Blaue Traube is well located in the heart of Schongau. Very quiet hotel. It’s an easy walk to the wall that goes around the town. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Typical of a small hotel. There was something for everyone, good breads, eggs, yogurt, cereal, etc. Plenty of variety. Parking in front usually available.
The apartment location on the charming Marienplatz of Schongau was super! The apartment and ammenities were top notch and the host was very accomodating with my requests and questions. Great location with short travel time to all the attractions near the Alps. I would definitely stay here again!
The property is located in the pedestrian center of Schongau. We noted the excellent quality of the hotel together with the enormous size of the room and bathroom which had everything. The breakfast was great and varied with a super tasty cappuccino. All the staff sympathic and very kind.

Your hotel was very very disappointing and should not be referred to as a hotel. If was over priced with very poor service and never ever again will I visit
