The hotel was really pretty-very traditional and full of character. The staff were even dressed in traditional outfits and everyone was so friendly and helpful. There were some lovely personal touches, like a welcome note on the bed and a named place/table setting on our table. We were also given a little gift of homemade marmalade when we left. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed a really good meal and some great beers. The room was quite large with a comfy bed (we should have asked for different pillows) and a good, clean separate shower room and bathroom. We had a double aspect room and it was such a shame the weather was awful as it looked like it was a pretty area.

Due to the detour, it was difficult to find the way to the hotel by car, although the instructions were clear, the hotel is in the center. The hotel restaurant is only open until 8 p.m. There are restaurants around, but unfortunately they only serve food until 8 p.m. We found a pizzeria where we could have dinner at 9 p.m.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and my single room was a decent size and very comfortable. The breakfast was decent. I loved my stay and pleased I chose to walk to Neuschwanstein from here via Kalvarienberg.

Very welcoming staff ☺️ They reserved us a spot in the pizzeria for the evening. Room was nice, with a balcony. Breakfast was decent. The location of the hotel is in the small village and you can spot tractors in the streets 🙂
The owner and hotel staff were amazing and really friendly! They truly put in a lot of effort to make the stay enjoyable. The facilities and room were also great. I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re around the area!
