Hotel in a small village, quiet in the evening, at the country side. Don't expect a vibrant city life, but a perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet. Family owned hotel with very friendly and hospitable hosts. And i felt really welcome and respected. The property is not new, but well maintained and very clean. Parking of the car off the street.
The room is spacious and very clean. Simple bathroom, clean and functional. Perfect hotel for a few nights in a relaxed and quiet environment. And possible to have a long stroll in the nice and quiet country side.
Breakfast really excellent, in a nice setting, great choice of food, fresh buns and bread from the bakery, dairy and fresh fruits. Perfectly ok.
For dinner, an excellent asian restaurant, Kokkin, is nearby, 500mtr walking. This restaurant is amazing good and highly recommended. Really great food in a nice and relaxing environment and nicely decorated. Quite an experience.

The room was clean, the breakfast was very diversified, very friendly with pets, free parking and close the A3 Autobahn. We will come back for sure.

The Gasthof is located 15 minutes drive by car from Bamberg, no bus connection available. Its quite spot in a small village however next to the hotel there is a huge grain mill, so don't expect countryside view but kind of industrial neighbourhood instead. Room was clean and tidy, breakfast served in the morning was OK.
