(1) The location of the facilities - not located in the middle of a busy town. therefore it is quiet (except the side facing the railway).
(2) The staff was very friendly and honest about the state of the hotel.
(3) Staff can speak english, it eased my communication to know the where abouts of the city.
Perfect hotel, perfect place. Rooms very clean and cmfortable. One room was bigger than expected, another smaller, but that did not matter. Everything needed was there. Nice restaurant with good kitchen. Very frienly staff. Driving to Koeln center took 20 min without necessity to cram to highway. Free, huge parking. Although restaurant orders close at 9:30pm it was always possible to be served with a beer despite late hour. Green enviroment with birds outside the window fulfill the atmosphere.
The staff are super friendly, the room was lovely. Comfortable and very clean. The hotel is in a nice quiet location close to many hikes. The breakfast was wonderfully delicious with fresh baked breads, a selection of cheeses, fresh fruit salad, jams, yoghurt and nice cereals and teas, also some hams. A very hearty breakfast.
Can't wait to stay there again. Excellent value, I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the hotel during our biking tour! The location was amazing! The Dom was so beautiful!
And the town has no supermarket so it was nice that we booked breakfast. Besides we came to the breakfast earlier than we mentioned... even though the staff was so nice and welcomed us.

The staff was lovely and welcoming, the atmosphere is great. A true country side hotel, beautiful traditional design. The standard room was small but comfortable and clean, and the shower was renovated and well deaigned including a window. Breakfast always fresh. Perfect location.
The Young Owner Manager of the hotel Mr. Marcel Kreber is a true professional and yet very friendly. He went out of the way to help us. We had booked a single room but he was gracious enough to arrange for an extra bed for my wife at a paltry sum of Euro 10.
Very cosy, relaxed hotel (inn style). All different kinds of people seems to enjoy themselves here, and the outdoor restaurant was fantastic. Mostly local dishes were excellent. Fantastic and friendly staff, always prepared for a little joke or fun.
Friendly nice hosts. Clean, large room and bathroom...very nice. Comfy beds. The room could do with air conditioning (at least a portable one), would make it more comfortable. Very interesting art throughout the rooms and hotel.
We love this hotel and have stayed here many times. Great quiet location with wonderful woods all around. Hotel restaurant is excellent but other restaurants are within easy reach with many choices from top class to average.
