Opladed is the upmarket bit of Leverkusen- a very nice suberb which feels very safe and friendly. There is a pedestrianised shopping area (most shops being on 2 roads which cross each other) and this has a cosy feel to it rather than a big city atmosphere. There is a good variety of restaurants and other shops. Nostalgically (for us English) there is a large Woolworths! The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from Opladen train (& bus) station. Trains connect to Cologne (going South) and Wupppertal (North). If you want a train to Dusseldorf or Duisburg (e.g. for the Lanschaftspark in my case) you can get the 201 bus (every 20 mins) to the other station in central Leverkusen (Mitte). The hotel room was very nice, with a desk & chair provided for reading etc. For the breakfast buffet they had a nice variety of seeded bread rolls and meats as well as the usual cereals/juices/cheeses.

Great location, delicious breakfast each morning, and wonderful Staff. Very quiet and nice area to walk our dogs that traveled with us. Enjoyed a nice meal at the Latina Restaurant in the front of the Hotel. We would definitely stay again in the future if we’re in the area.

In my opinion, You go there for either watching football matches in Bayer Arena for doing business with Bayer. Nice small town with cheap but good quality hotels. Nearby cities are Cologne and Düsseldorf.

I visited Köln many times, but it was my first time staying at Leverkusen. Didn't get to see much of it since I spent most of my time in Köln, but it seemed to be a quite and clean area. It had bus station close by 5-8 minutes walk, and also a supermarket which you could walk to 10-15 minutes.

Leverkusen was a lovely city and easy to get to on the train from Opladen. Nice sights with the cathedral and river, the traditional food was excellent as was the beer. It is a lively city centre later at night.
It was a business trip to a place less than 500m away from the hotel so the location couldn't be better.
Breakfast - a bit smaller choice of food than in some other 3 star hotels but everything was fresh, so all in all - positive and I think everyone can find something for himself/herself.
Restaurant available not only for breakfasts but also for a nice evening meal. That's a plus.
Parking space available without any problems (no extra fee).
Room was clean, towels and sheets were clean.

We were there for football at Bay Arena (Bayer Leverkusen) and the location and transport to the ground (about 4kms) was excellent. Free bus to stadium and back from Opladen. Train to Cologne in 15 mins. Great hotel, great location and we would definitely recommend.
We had huge apartments with 3 separate rooms, kitchen,two showers and two toilets - perfect for 5 persons. Functional and clean showers. lots of space for comfortable relaxing stay. Kitchen well equipped. Private parking. There is Edeka supermarket in 5 minutes walking distance. Free private car parking with the gas station just in front of the hotel. We also enjoyed a lot the swimming pool and the sauna. Very friendly personal provided us excellent service! We enjoyed our stay very much!

The staff especially Katarina who was the best hotel staff I met. she’s just so happy and sincere with her job and I was touched by the hospitality. The room was big and spacious. it was clean. on-site restaurant made dinner convenient. Dinner was tasty too. Located at quiet area. Nice park nearby.
