I liked the mix between modern and family hotel style. Pleasant personal approach by the staff during check-in, dinner, check-out. All In all good value for money. I expect to be using this hotel again for future trips in that area. Tip. Try the local beer.

We stayed in room 25 and had a nice view of the castle from our window. The owner and staff were very personable, friendly and accommodating! Ponie and Michel cooked up a lovely dinner for us and Zalena treated us like it was a private affair. It was a Monday evening and each dish was cooked to perfection (from the Thai crispy duck to the German schnitzel).
Breakfast was the best since our arrival in Germany, many choices on the buffet. Hotel am Schloss is a hidden gem.
We were very pleased with our one-night stay at Hotel am Schloss Neuenstein. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious enough. Breakfast offerings, both hot and cold, were plentiful and varied. The wifi worked well. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, permitting us to check-in early. We stayed in Neuenstein because it provided easy access to Schwaebisch Hall, but Neuenstein itself proved to be worth a visit.
The room was delightful and had a small covered balcony with comfortable chairs. When we arrived we had to phone the owner to find out where the key was, but that was quite straightforward. The breakfast was excellent with a very good range of hot and cold, savoury and sweet items. The restaurant was not open but we found a really good Greek restaurant only 2 minutes walk away. The hotel is in a very pretty village.
I really enjoy these small hotels in Europe. They always treat me like family and welcome me with a big smile. Maybe it helps that I also bring my friendly dog with me? Also, they were very accommodating of my late arrival. The key was outside as they promised. Breakfast was quite nice too!
Communication was very good, late check-in was arranged perfectly. Parking spot was right outside the hotel. Unfortunately we did not have a parking disc, but the staff was very helpful and lent us a disc until the morning, thank you so much for that. Good breakfast and really nice service.
Thank you for a wonderful hospitality at your hotel. We have stopped here on our way from France to Poland - It was a good decision. We had a very comfortable night sleep and a wonderful breakfast! We promise to come back.
