Amazing view for breakfast. Breakfast was also very good. I was amazed at how well the lady at the front was able to keep up with the quest coming and going in addition to keeping the breakfast stock and the coffee hot. Overall, simply amazing. SO MUCH BETTER THEN THE BIG CHAINS.

This cozy hotel is just 656 feet from Trier's pedestrian area, Old Town district and historic Porta Nigra gate. The Moselle promenade and the harbor can be reached in 5 minutes on foot.
Mesenich is a pleasant village in the Sauertal. There are good walks along the valley and up the valley sides. The only drawback is that there was only one restaurant (at the hotel where I stayed), so when the restaurant closed on Monday evening I had to drive to find somewhere to eat.
