This was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed! The property was easy to locate across from the railroad station. Despite that, it was very quiet. The breakfast options were great and included delicious jam they make on site. It was a wonderful location for visiting Lorsch Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage site. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, small hotel that also supports individuals with special challenges, this is the place.
It was a one night stay for us - me, my wife and two kids, and it was ideal! Clean room, which has a lot of place, and every tiny thing which is needed was in place. Often in hotels you can find some things missing: not enough place, no fridge, no water, small towels, not clean enough, etc. But not at Gasthof Schillerreck!
