We arrived Oct. 6, 2023 at about 17.00 Hr in the afternoon we dit not receive the message with the information on how to enter our Room because we were traveling still. When we arrived we noticed the message on the stairs down to the basement area and found the key in the #2 metal basket we opened the door and entered through the outside door of the basement. We found the #2 room on the end of the corridor and opened it we were totally amazed what we found a real small Beth with a head (single 1 person) Head pillow with virtually no filling, and also a skimpy 1 person (what was ones a Overthrow and not a blanket) that also was ones had some filling. It looked and smelled the Beth linen was used and not changed for the new Gests. There was no way we would stay there and spend the night. This was totally not what we expected and inadequate. We made pictures of this disaster and left leaving the keys in the aforementioned basket with a note that we will not use this room and want our money back. We got a room at Holliday In in Darmstadt for the night. It did cost us a lot more but is worth it we could not stay in that Dump. I did write a email to the owner but no reply. The only thing what I received was a request to “Rate” our stay.

The biggest appreciation deserves a very nice gentleman at the reception. We drove to the hotel at 9:55 pm because we had an accident on the highway. Despite our late arrival, the receptionist was friendly and helpful and arranged dinner at the restaurant at the last minute. The room was clean and spacious. At night there was a bit of sound of passing trains but it was nothing significantly disturbing. The food in the restaurant was excellent. What really fascinated me was the Araucaria araucana tree in the garden.
I had to make a stopover on my way from Italy to The Netherlands. The hotel is very good for this - 24 hours reception, close by A5 and A67 motorways. Plenty of parking space, comfortable beds, softer and harder pillows available, good breakfast.
Convenient location for those traveling without a car, as the property is very close to the Bensheim train and bus station. It’s very clean and the support staff are gracious and friendly.
Staff where helpful, hotel location was perfect for walking to the city center and restaurants, easy drive to the ruins of the castle. AC was great!! Breakfast was good as well.

Very spacious apartment for two, well equipped kitchen with every tool you need to cook. Good location in Bensheim, city center is a short walk as is a larger supermarket.

Hotel is a 2mins walk to my Appointment place. Easy access in the City. There's an elevator so it won't be that hard to go up when you have many luggages.
