The garden is lovingly cared for by the host, who encouraged us to enjoy the several seating areas; through the day the sun reached different spots so one can always choose a seating area to one's sun/shadow preference.
The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful; we were even met at the bus stop when we arrived in Lindenfels by bus (we travelled by train/bus).

The staff was very friendly and accommodated all our requests quickly ( e.g extra pillows, missing bathrobe). The breakfast and buffet dinner was versatile, fresh and delicious. The outdoor pool with the surrounding forests is a great place to relax. The playground is also excellent. We booked this as we'd been let down on two other hotels...we arrived and were checked in by a delightful lady ..the hotel was spotless throughout...a little dated but immaculate..
We even had a balcony in our room...the location was quite and we managed to get a great night sleep.
Breakfast was good with all the usual choices..
