The apartment is lovely and everything is easily accessible by car/bus.
Not much to see or do in Kusel. I was there for a concert on the outskirts of the town which was in walking distance from the hotel. Kusel is really just a stopover location. A victim of COVID closure, which is a shame.

Good place to stop for a few hours.
Good place to stop for a few hours. The churches and pedestrian zone are good., and the Fritz Wunderlich Museum is worthwhile. Outstanding, though, are the castle Burg Lichtenberg and the Italian restaurant Da Pino.
