The hotel was very charming with a seamless combination of old and new. We loved the rooms, the beds were comfortable, it was very clean and also smelled nice :) The staff was always very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. They even told us a bit about the history of the building. Breakfast was provided in the morning. it was a lovely spread, however we felt that it was a bit overpriced at €16 per person.
Small hotel in a small village. Welcomed by owner. Rooms OK, but bathrooms looked at little tired. Shower hot. Bed comfy & clean.
Some street parking outside - I left my motorcycle on pavement next to hotel reception door without any complaints.
Very little to see in village (unless you are going for the horse racing). We eat at hotel restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Many other customers so must be good.

Great and comfy place! Very friendly staff. Personal private hotel - miles above what you can get in Hotel chains. All done, renovated and decorated with great taste. Arriving late and the owner stayed up - I felt sorry but no bad feelings from him, instead very professional and friendly. Definitely worth a second visit! :-)
The hotel is very charming and the staff were lo very welcoming and helpful. The rooms have a lot of charm and the overall feeling is of an old but high quality country inn. The hotel is very convenient for the A5 but is definitely a more comfortable and characterful stop over than a modern chain hotel.
