This delightful Rheine hotel is steeped in family history and offered us the most comfortable elegant stay with professional staff who were extremely kind and effecient and could not do enough to help our late arrival. They spoke English which was so helpful. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice. The rooms were spacious and appointed to a high standard. We stayed in a suite with antiques and a most comfortable King size bed. The hotel is family run with a small team working to a very high standard. Communication by phone was easy. We felt safe. The hotel garden was a fragrant space with Olive , Orange ,Lime and Lemon trees with the old well which the hotel is named after. It is in a quiet area of town easy walking distance from the centre.The hotel offered free overnight parking next to the building.

My wife and I were doing family research and had never been in the area but fell in love with the villages that dotted the area. Beautiful old churches and villages that we will never forget and hopefully visit again. Bevergern, Hörstel, Ibbenbüren and more were all just movements apart.
The atmosphere of the hotel is great, being an old (but beautifully renovated) trainstation. Staff very helpful, we arrived early but that was not a problem at all. During the short wait for our room to be ready, we were served a free cup of coffee. The restaurant serves very good meals for very reasonable prices!
Well maintained, large hotel in the outskirts of the country which is clearly understaffed. While the facilities are nice and comfortable, one would not expect waiting at the reception and for breakfast buffet to be filled up. However, complaints were attended to immediatly and satisfactory.
I absolutely loved the concept of this hotel. All the small things together made everything so easy and enjoyable. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was great and the bed was very comfortable. I will certainly stay there again. Excellent value for that price.
