This delightful Rheine hotel is steeped in family history and offered us the most comfortable elegant stay with professional staff who were extremely kind and effecient and could not do enough to help our late arrival. They spoke English which was so helpful. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice. The rooms were spacious and appointed to a high standard. We stayed in a suite with antiques and a most comfortable King size bed. The hotel is family run with a small team working to a very high standard. Communication by phone was easy. We felt safe. The hotel garden was a fragrant space with Olive , Orange ,Lime and Lemon trees with the old well which the hotel is named after. It is in a quiet area of town easy walking distance from the centre.The hotel offered free overnight parking next to the building.

Rooms a little dated but still charming. This place is primarily a fine dining restaurant, famous in the area (and very busy)....but obviously has a few rooms (we had 5...but there maybe more). We didn't have breakfast and not sure if they actually do it, but there is a fantastic bakery in the town. The town itself (Mesum) is absolutely lovely - pretty with very friendly people (special mention for the wonderful pub in the centre).
Very cozy and quiet location - lots of room to hang out, play games, and eat together. We were 6 people and slept very comfortably. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware, plates, cups, mugs, and silverware. I would recommend bringing your own knives for food prep. We were surprised with the city of Rheine - it was very pretty and a nice place to walk around.
Exceptional city centre hotel. My sister and I stayed for a week while visiting family and the staff could not have been more accommodating especially to my 6year old granddaughter, they went out of their way to make her feel very special. Excellent facilities, breakfast super and everywhere spotless clean. Highly recommend.
Beautiful building, the area is steeped in history with ancient buildings and infrastructures at every corner near the hotel.

The Hotel is outdated, the room was clean. You could hear the noise from below (Friday evening: restaurant). Neighborhood is fine, but you need a car. The staff was very busy during checkin, but it worked.
