The personnel was very helpful and friendly, the location is amazing — quiet natural area with nice German-style buildings and horse-riding facilities. Also, fresh breakfasts with crispy bread, fresh veggies and fruits as well as German sausages and cheeses made my belly very happy :)

The hotel is located at a main road, but it is not too noisy during the night. It has a beergarden / open air restaurant with a nice setting at the back of the hotel, green and quiet. It also features a bowling alley. Rooms are ok, big enough and furnished properly. Breakfast is nicely served, in principle standard German breakfast with bread, rolls, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, jam and scrambled eggs. Parking is available free of charge on the property, however, only for about eight cars. Staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, their smiles really make a difference.

I had a good night there.
The owner is a really friendly guy. He offered me food when everything else was closed, he cared a lot about me having a good stay. I the morning I had a nice breakfast.
The room was okay, stayed there with my dog.

Nothing like wake up on Saturday, open the front door and have a nice walk in the middle of the colourful street market at the heart of Uelzen. The location could not be better - even if car drivers might be annoyed for having to park their vehicles away. The breakfast included in the price was almost perfect, with diverse options of bread, marmelade, cheese, tea. However, the eggs and bacon were even in the early hours of the morning cold. The room was equipped with safe, TV (no stream of Bundesliga matches but a variety of the most conventional channels) and a water kettle - simple things that are not taken for granted among hotels.

The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The apartment is amazing, and much bigger than the pictures suggest. It was very clean and the location is stunning set in woodland. There’s an onsite shop which sells very nice organic/bio food and drink and the staff there were patient with our bad German!

I stayed here a year ago and was keen to return. Clean, bright and ecologically aware. Safe bike storage in cellar. Young, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Fairly central and close to the wacky architecture of the Hundertwasser railway station.
