The hotel was really pretty-very traditional and full of character. The staff were even dressed in traditional outfits and everyone was so friendly and helpful. There were some lovely personal touches, like a welcome note on the bed and a named place/table setting on our table. We were also given a little gift of homemade marmalade when we left. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed a really good meal and some great beers. The room was quite large with a comfy bed (we should have asked for different pillows) and a good, clean separate shower room and bathroom. We had a double aspect room and it was such a shame the weather was awful as it looked like it was a pretty area.
This guest house is in the town centre of Bernbeuren, at the foot of the Auerberg mountain. A free breakfast each morning and free private parking for cars and bicycles is available to guests.
