The staff was very friendly and accommodated all our requests quickly ( e.g extra pillows, missing bathrobe). The breakfast and buffet dinner was versatile, fresh and delicious. The outdoor pool with the surrounding forests is a great place to relax. The playground is also excellent. Although the hotel and the rooms are old, the service and the location more than makes up for it and overall we were very satisfied.

We booked this as we'd been let down on two other hotels...we arrived and were checked in by a delightful lady ..the hotel was spotless throughout...a little dated but immaculate.. We even had a balcony in our room...the location was quite and we managed to get a great night sleep. Breakfast was good with all the usual choices.. We were very satisfied with our stay here..

Henry and David are great hosts, extremely helpful. We spent a bit of time together in the common room and they gave us tips on the best hiking trails in the area. They even offered us their own homemade Apfelwein, REALLY delicious! The hostel is very clean and cozy. Each room has a private toilet down the corridor, while there is a common big bathroom with showers. The kitchen is fully furnished, and coffee and tee are provided for the breakfast. We had a really good time and will definitely come back.
