Staff and food were great. The only downside was there was no safe in the room, so we had to carry passports and valuables around with us.

Food is terrific at this place. I would recommend the schnitzel with Pommes! The staffs speak English and are very nice and patient.
The hotel is also conveniently located near a grocery store (which I never got the chance to visit) and a walking distance away from the central bus and train station, which has a shopping center right outside.
I can't think of anything that is worth mentioning that I liked. The food was ok, breakfast was just average. The room was clean, but after the cleaning lady passed through the bed was not made. Overall it seemed not a lot of effort was made in general at the hotel.
I liked the tastefully renovated old premises. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It’s an interesting hotel with a history and has its own special charm. The breakfast was excellent, a huge choice of everything, fresh veggies and fruit.
Brand new hotel right in the center of town. Location was perfect! Still being set up and some areas still being constructed however, the rooms are beautiful. Super comfortable bed and ample space in the bathroom.

The hotel is in the center of Gummerbachs where you can walk 10 mins to the bus central station and 5 mins to the walking street with restaurants, shops. Breakfast included is good.
Spacious and quiet rooms not too far from the city center. The very friendly receptionist upgraded us free of charge due to the hotel being almost full.
