The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly and spoke very good English.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. Especially in the morning when we had breakfast. Mara always welcomed us with a smile and offered us right away if we wanted tea or coffee.
The restaurant is of course italian, but even the rooms had an italian vibe to it. It actually made me miss to go back to Italy.

The Zollverein Mine, Unesco Heritage, worths the visit. I was there on business, but I had a great time visiting the several parks built where once there were mines or steel usines. It is a diverse city, very green. Not the very turistical place, though.
Very nice room including the bathroom and spacious south facing terrace with Nordstern view. Easy to use aircon control panel (unlike in many other hotels) and beautiful ambient lighting as well as surround sound music/TV. Very good sound insulated and quiet room. Bed is very comfortable and large. Car park right in front of the hotel. The hotel bar, lounge and restaurant are very modern, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The food at restaurant is of very good quality.

The staff was so helpful. She wait for us until 11:00 pm, even thought she would left at 9:00 pm. The recepsionist is so polite. The hotel its near the main street and also near the shopping street. In the room we find two chocolate for us. The help us with an iron. The staff was too suportive.
The location is very good, but the price for the service is not fair. Also Hotel is very opportunistic, you book at one price then you want to extend they change immediately. The staff does not speak proper English.
Very clean and spacious room. I stayed just for one night. There are few, good restaurants spprox 8 min walk from the hotel. Nice bakery just few min away, good for a breakfast. Safe location. Very peaceful.
Really nice hotel located near the stadium, but otherwise a bit outside the central city (although connected by bus and tram). the room was comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was extra, but complete.
The restaurant was very good, but you cannot eat in the hotel unless you make a reservation multiple days before you arrive. Finally the chef arranged that I could eat with the collegue on one evening.
The Arena Hotel provided great value for money, the perfect location, and made my after hours check-in very easy. As a bonus, there is a sushi restaurant on the ground floor.
The option to park for half the price in the garage next door. The hotel charges €10,- /night and Contipark int. only €5,- for 24 hrs. But how should you know?
