Lovely trees in front of area. Warm welcome and helpful manager. Easy place to settle. Breakfast had good variety of options and was plentiful. WiFi was fine. A nice faded grandeur feeling which I liked. Onsite italian restaurant was good and there is a nice Greek restaurant in walking distance.

This place is located near the town of Gauting in the rural setting of Buchendorf. If you like being in the country but within easy commute to Munich this is a great place. Additionally, the Pension (B&B) has an excellent restaurant and pub. Bus 965 is a two minute walk that takes you to Gauting Station and using the S6 line gets you to Munich in about 30 min. The use of MVG’s tickets allows unlimited public transport in and around Munich!

It's situated in a quiet part of the small town of Gauting, which has excellent SBahn 6 links with Munich and the surrounding area.
Everything was perfect - clean room, good shower,ample breakfast, cheerful and helpful staff,who conversed in English if required.
Cozy hotel, out of the way, located in a small quiet village. Just 15 minutes from Starnbergersee. The owner and the staff were very friendly, personable and spoke English. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh every morning.
