When we arrived it turned out that the restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday. When I had asked them about opening hours on our day of arrival they had not mentioned this. Only a few hours before they confirmed locker code for room keys and confirmed that Restaurant was closed. When we called them they referred to another restaurant which was close by. Thus restaurant turned out to be closed also. In the end we found another restaurant but would have preferred not having to drive and eat in Hotel. They should be more clear about this.
We arrived a bit late, when the reception was closed, but the hotel left a key in a locker and sent a message with a code. So there was no problem to get in. The room was spacious, what positively surprised us. The mattress had the softness, exactly the one we like. What we liked especially is a double door. Means no sounds came from the hallway. Breakfast was good, nothing special, but sufficient to feel replete. The hotel is located aside from the roads, therefore the place is quiet.
I had read about the breakfast with home-made jam, but the breakfast was above expectations: a Swedish buffet fit for dinner. The hotel is within six kilometers from Chiemsee Schloss. The landscape is rural, green, peaceful. The church bells beat every hour.
It was great, the hotel and the restaurant are super comfortable and the staff makes the experience unique. It's perfect for travelers and it's quite but still close to the highway. I'm definitely coming back.
The hotel is very near to the highway. The diner and breakfast were excellent. The sauna and swimming pool are included for customers. The hotel is very quite and relaxing. I will surely come back again.
