A must-visit place, recommended for all seasons as each carry a different beauty and personality of Chiemsee and its surrounding locations. Take the boat and enjoy the ride to each Island. Walk around Fraueninsel, have a meal at Herreninsel after visiting the Castle. Walk to the water in the summer. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to! Enjoy the beauty of Bavaria!

It is at the lakeside one has the most lasting impression. And the ship which takes one across the lake to the palace of Herrenchiemsee is a pleasant 20 minute cruise .After the palace with its wonderful Versailles lookalike interiors don’t miss out a visit to the monastery on the island .There is a delightful exhibition of paintings celebrating the period 1890 to the 1930s .The cafe on the terrace is a good place to have a light lunch ( and especially a cool beer ).

We like the hotel overall. The breakfast was good, not too many options but enough with good quality. The staff was smiling, room was comfortable (just pillows were not) and nice decorated (I like Bavaria style). The location was close to the lake, but by car. It would be hard to go by walk. Parking was easy to the closest swimming place and 1 euro per hour. There is a nice playground and a green park close to the hotel and Chiemsee swimming location.
The room was good but the room service was excellent. The view from the hotel was too good. The location was a 20 min walk from Bernau Chiemsee Station but with the greenery filled road made it very pleasant.
Also, the breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options. Unfortunately we couldn't use the swimming pool and sauna as they were closed due to Covid but we played mini golf and it was fun.
It’s a lovely place with amazing view, surrounded by beautiful nature, cows, deers. We got a big room with balcony, it was very spacious and clean.
In the evening we had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, very tasty Bavarian food and nice playground for kids. Lots of guests had dogs and those felt very comfortable too.
Love this place!
The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the city, but that also makes it a bit noisy at night. The room wasnt big, but very cosy, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Breakfast was nicely arranged and there is something for everyone's taste

We went for dinner on the terras, very nice location. The food and quality were very good, think even the best in town.
For cars there is also a big parking which is free.
Personnel was very helpful and friendly.
Dog friendly hotel.
A very nice hotel in the style of an Alpine pension. Lots of space and well-heated rooms. It has a very neat breakfast hall and is accessible both by car and by train (15 min walk from yhe station). Staff was very friendly.
Fantastic welcome to the hotel, very efficent on arrival. Very clean, nice sized rooms with balconies. Excellent parking adjacent to the hotel and not far from local bars and restaurants.
Very nice hotel in a little village.
Windows with a view on the lake. Total calm, comfortable bed. Very good restaurant. Kind service. Free parking. Just perfect!
