We could walk a bit to enjoy the tranquil neighbourhood. I could hear diligent tractor travel in the early morning or perhaps narrow boats travel as the house is next to the canal. The terrace next to the kitchen provided a good sitting place for our breakfast and evening meals in the warm weather. The owner was kind enough to ensure alles ordnung.

The absolutely sumptuous breakfast provided ,included hot and cold food , could not be bettered. Overall the best I have encountered in my travels using guest houses and B&Bs over 60 + years.
Soft and Alcoholic drinks were available in a cooler and provided on a self pay basis .

We made a last minute reservation and were warmly welcomed to the apartment. We arrived with bikes and were immediately provided with somewhere secure to keep them overnight.
The apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything we could of needed. We had a fabulous and restful night.
