Rooms were very clean and was great for the price. The hotel is going through renovations. Our room was newly renovated. We were only there at night, so the renovations did not affect us really. If you were planning to stay in your room during the day, it may be disruptive for certain guests.

This hotel is not located in Deisslingen but in the next village which is Lauffen booking.com gives the wrong address - this is very confusing if you are using a GPS and is bad for the business of the hotel. The place is difficult to find.
After a long drive from Calais, the hotel was very easy to find off the motorway.
Parking on site. Easy check-in.
Arranged for an evening meal. Hotel was very busy, with a private party occupying the main hall and the restaurant almost full but nevertheless, we had reall good service.
Food was superb - beer went down a treat.
Slept like royalty.
