There is a train station thus one can get to Erlangen, Nuremberg or any other place pretty fast and without much of hassle as the train services are frequent and on time.
A hidden gem... I love the mix of a hint of wintersports cabin and modern designed and equipped rooms. The hotel is situated around a cosy courtyard. It's very serene. Breakfast is very exstensive and with amazing (local) products. First night, because we booked last minute, there was a mix up, yet this was very nicely dealt with and in such a kind way. We decided to stay another night as this location was just a home away from home. We will come back soon!
We stayed in the family room with 2 adults and three young children. We slept well - which obviously was the most important. Unfortunately the weather was poor so the restaurant missed the traditional Friday afternoon vibe, but we know otherwise it would've been excellent as we stayed here before.
The food was excellent - we didn't have breakfast the following morning as we left very early.
This hotel is highly recommeneded.
Beautiful gasthof. Unfortunately we arrived on a Monday & that is their day off so the restaurant was closed & we had to let ourselves into the hotel with the instructions they send.
I was disappointed because I really wanted to sit in their beer garden as it is very nice. We ended up having dinner next door which was good food but sat outdoors in the carpark.😔
Extremely well kept room and hotel, with everything we needed for an overnight stay on our way through Germany. The property is tastefully renovated but keeping the external charm of the old buildings.
The hotel also provides dinner which is wholesome German cuisine and the breakfast was a good continental selection.
Very nice, comfortable and modern hotel in historical Bavarian Gasthof style with excellent breakfast and good value (for this price it is almost impossible to find something better)! Spacious room and anytime check-in possible due to lock box for key.
