We chose the location based on visiting the Kirche am Suurhusen and were delighted with the proximity. We also discovered other things in the area. The hotel met our expectations. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was of good size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was to a good standard. We had dinner in the hotel and enjoyed the local Friesian dishes on offer. A great base to explore the area. The Moormuseum in Mordorf is a must.

Hotel staff was very busy. Understandable, but this way I could not reach them to let them know I would arrive late. When I arrived it was not a problem, but it was inconvenient considering I was on a biketour and had to rearrange if the door would have been closed. The hotel itself is fine, nicely located on the countryside at Aurich, good breakfast and overall comfortable.
