We were in transit so didn’t use the kitchens in the 2 apartments we booked but enjoyed a meal outside on the roof terrace overlooking the river and watching the sun set behind the spires of the old town of Bad Wimpfen.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They provided help, even without me asking. The lady was even remembering the names of a couple of guests. The breakfast looks small but has a lot of fresh options. Food is replenished very fast and the provide choices you won't find anywhere else (mini mozzarella with tomatoes, ginger shots).
This is a family-run hotel and it does not have a 24hrs reception. Good arrangement with the key safe if you arrive after 6pm. Very clean, nice view of the river, comfortable beds and good bathroom. Breakfast is very good. Nice people, so recommended.
